4-5 tbsp cornstarch (or 5-7 tbsp flour)
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt
3 cups goat milk
1 tsp vanilla
Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt in the top of a double boiler. Slowly stir in milk. Place over boiling water and stir constantly until thick and smooth (about 3 minutes.)
Turn fire down to simmer and cover. Cook 15 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add vanilla & stir. Chill in molds, or eat hot over buttered bread or cake.
